Jilliyeah, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter with a soulful voice and a passion for storytelling. Now based in New York, she blends pop and soul to create music that speaks to life’s ups and downs, sharing pieces of her heart with every song.

Growing up in Taiwan, Jilliyeah was surrounded by art, music, and a family who believed in her dreams. From early piano lessons inspired by her sister to singing with her father, music was always in her life. Despite facing many challenges in school, where her bold and outspoken nature often got her into trouble, she never lost sight of her dream to be a singer.

Finding Freedom in Music

Jilliyeah’s journey hasn’t been easy. She’s battled criticism, bullying, and moments of self-doubt, but these struggles only made her stronger. Her search for freedom led her to explore the world, dive into meditation, and reconnect with herself. Music became her safe space—a way to heal, express, and connect.

In 2017, she won third place in a national songwriting contest in Taiwan, a moment that fueled her desire to share her music on a bigger stage. In 2022, she had the incredible honor of representing Taiwan as part of a team that won a Grammy Award. This unforgettable experience inspired her to take a leap of faith and move to New York, where she continues to work with amazing artists and producers, bringing her closer to living her dream.
